Cleanning Day

Last year Saturday 11,2010  was 7th annual crag clean up day at Crazy Horse. Our climbing community and people who were traveling Chiang Mai for 1-3 weeks all pitched in. We helped each other to make Crazy Horse Butress clean by collecting trash and moving rocks. This year our main goals want to make the platform for belaying, that way we could reduce the dust that infiltrates our gear during dry season. To make the job go faster we divided into different groups to clean another climbing routes such as the Furnace, Junkyard, Hanging Gardens, Tamarind Village, and Anthill crags Aircon wall. We continued on from Buddha Buttress to the high entrance of Anxiety State Crisis Cave picking up trash, clearing trails along the way etc. I would like to say thank you so much to everyone who helped. "YOU GUYS ARE SO BAD ASS."
       On Monday 13, 2010 CMRCA turned 8 years old. Wahoo!! Happy Birthday!  I have been a part of CMRCA for 3 year already, they immediatly became my family and still are. To celebrate the 8th year, we went to Oob Kan National Park in the south east of Chiang Mai for a picnic lunch. There we also took time to go bouldering, what a great experince it was!
