Protein


 Vitamins and minerals are good for people who work hard and are run down. They are important for the body. Since I was injured, I knew I should have something to help my muscles that were tired from training. After two weeks of eating protein my left shoulder and my right knee got better and I went back to training, ready to work as hard as I could.
The benefits of protein:
1. Protein is essential to growth
2. Protein repairs worn tissue
3. Protein helps the immune system
4. Protein is an important component of cells.
5. Protein is an important energy source when the body lacks carbohydrates and fats
